AIF® (Accredited Investment Fiduciary®)

The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation is awarded to professionals who demonstrate a thorough understanding of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care. To earn the AIF® designation, candidates must complete AIF® training, pass the final certification exam, meet experience requirements, adhere to ethical standards, and submit an application with dues.

JD (Juris Doctor)

The Juris Doctor (JD) is a professional graduate degree in law. The designation indicates the holder has completed formal legal education. This designation does not imply that the individual is currently licensed to practice law or provide legal advice unless otherwise stated.

CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst®)

The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation is a globally recognized certification for financial professionals, awarded by the CFA Institute. CFA charter holders are known for their knowledge of investment analysis and portfolio management.

CFP® (Certified Financial Planner®)

The Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation is awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. It signifies knowledge of financial planning, including wealth management, tax planning, insurance, retirement planning, and estate planning. To earn the CFP® designation, candidates must complete education requirements, pass the CFP® exam, gain professional experience, and adhere to ethical standards.

CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst®)

The Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation is designed for financial advisors and investment consultants managing the investment needs of affluent and institutional clients. It involves completing executive education, passing the certification exam, meeting experience requirements, and fulfilling continuing education.

CPFA® (Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor®)

The Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor® (CPFA®) designation, developed by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), demonstrates knowledge in fiduciary responsibility, regulatory compliance, and best practices in retirement plan management. To earn the CPFA® designation, candidates must complete CPFA® training, pass the CPFA® exam, and adhere to ethical standards.
